SUMMER CAMPS
THEME 1: The Dragon in the Library
Kay loves going to the library every week with Mummy and Daddy. Books are amazing – they’re full of new places to visit and new friends to meet! However, books aren’t the only things among the shelves this summer. Join us to discover just what else is in the library – and what’s going to happen next!
THEME 2: How the Tiger got its stripes?
Join our camp to act in a folktale adapted from the “How the Tiger Got its Stripes” by author Rob Cleveland. This story is about the prize possession of wisdom, an asset that many wants but finds it hard to obtain. The tiger learns that the farmer possesses wisdom and wants it badly. Will he get the farmer’s wisdom? How do you think the tiger got its stripes?
Come and find out how you can obtain wisdom from the farmer!
Theme 3 - Lao Lao of Dragon Mountain
Adapted from the story of “Lao Lao of Dragon Mountain” by Margaret Bateson-Hill. An old Chinese woman named Lao Lao is noted for her artful paper cuttings - a butterfly, a flower, even a rooster. When the greedy emperor hears that Lao Lao can cut "anything," he demands that she makes jewels from paper and fill his tower with treasure…
Join us during this camp to find out the endings of these beautiful stories!
